Hoya linearis is a tender, pendent, epiphytic, succulent, evergreen perennial with slender, soft, green stems bearing linear, hairy, grooved leaves and lax clusters of fragrant, star-shaped, white flowers.
Make sure that your Hoya Linearis receives a lot of indirect light. Keep it in a well draining potting mix and water sparingly. Hoyas like to grow in tight pots so don’t repot them too often.
The plant is approximately 70cm long and it comes in a plastic nursery pot 12cm.
Care Tips:
Soil: Lightweight, fast-draining potting mix
Light: bright indirect
Humidity: 40%-60%
Repotting: Hoya’s like to be pot bound, they need to be repotted very seldom
Please note: Hoya Linearis won’t flower unless it receives very bright indirect sunlight. A south-facing window would be ideal, although eastern and western exposures may also work if they are bright enough. This plant will even tolerate a little direct sunlight.
