🌿 Ceropegia simoneae – Care Tips

☀️ Light:
Give it bright light with some gentle direct morning sun. Avoid harsh afternoon sun, especially during very hot weather.

💧 Watering:
Water thoroughly, then allow the soil to dry out well before watering again. It is succulent-like and very sensitive to staying wet.

🪴 Soil:
Use a very well-draining, gritty mix. Cactus/succulent soil mixed generously with pumice or perlite works well.

🌡️ Temperature:
Prefers warm temperatures around 18–30°C. Protect it from cold temperatures and cold drafts.

💦 Humidity:
Normal household humidity is generally suitable. It does not require very high humidity. Good airflow is beneficial.

🌱 Fertilizer:
During active growth, feed with a diluted cactus/succulent fertilizer every 4–6 weeks. Reduce or stop feeding when growth slows.

🪴 Pot:
Choose a small pot with drainage holes. Avoid oversized pots because excess wet soil around the roots can encourage rot.

Ceropegia simoneae develops unusual twisting, sculptural stems and can produce trailing or climbing growth. Its strange shape is part of its natural appearance.

✂️ Pruning:
Remove only dead or damaged growth. Healthy unusual-looking stems don't need to be trimmed.

Key Tip: Keep it bright, warm and on the dry side. The biggest risk is overwatering, especially when temperatures are cooler or the plant isn't actively growing.
