Aglaonema Pastella

Dhs. 125.00

Size: 45-50cm in nursery pot

relatively easy to care for. 🌿

  • Light: Bright indirect light is best. Good light helps maintain the strong yellow/green/pink coloration. It tolerates medium light, but may become greener. Avoid intense midday sun.
  • Water: Let the top 3–5 cm (1–2 in) of soil dry before watering again. Then water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain. Don't leave the roots constantly wet.
  • Soil: Use an airy, fast-draining mix. A good combination is roughly 2 parts indoor potting mix or coco coir + 1 part perlite/pumice + 1 part orchid bark.
  • Temperature: Ideally 20–30°C (68–86°F). Protect it from cold drafts and temperatures below about 15°C (59°F).
  • Humidity: Around 40–70% works well. Higher humidity can produce nicer foliage, but normal indoor humidity is usually sufficient.
  • Fertilizer: During active growth, use a balanced houseplant fertilizer at about ½ strength every 4–6 weeks. Reduce or stop feeding when growth slows.
  • Repotting: Aglaonemas don't mind being slightly snug. Repot when roots heavily fill the pot, usually moving up only one pot size.
  • To keep the color: Give it plenty of bright filtered light. Very low light can reduce the intensity of the red coloration.
