🌿 Adenia perrieri – Care Tips

☀️ Light:
Bright indirect light with some gentle morning sun. Avoid harsh midday/afternoon sun, especially during very hot weather.

💧 Watering:
Water thoroughly, then allow the soil to dry out before watering again. Avoid keeping the soil constantly moist, as Adenia is susceptible to root and caudex rot.

🪴 Soil:
Use a very well-draining, gritty soil mix. Cactus succulent soil mixed with pumice and perlite works well.

🌡️ Temperature:
Prefers warm conditions, ideally around 18–30°C. Protect from cold temperatures.

💤 Dormancy:
Adenia perrieri may lose its leaves when it enters dormancy. This is normal. Reduce watering significantly while dormant and resume regular watering when new growth appears.

🌱 Fertilizer:
Feed lightly with diluted cactus/succulent fertilizer about once every 4–6 weeks during active growth. Do not fertilize during dormancy.

🪴 Repotting:
Repot only when necessary, usually every 2–3 years. Always use a pot with good drainage.

⚠️ Important:
Keep away from children and pets, as Adenia plants should be considered toxic if ingested.

Key tip: Adenia perrieri prefers being slightly too dry rather than too wet. Overwatering is one of the biggest risks.
