🌞 Light

• Ideal: Bright, indirect light.

• Tolerates: Low light to direct sun (though intense afternoon sun may scorch leaves).

• Tip: In low light, growth slows, and variegation may fade.

💧 Watering

• Low water needs. Allow soil to completely dry between waterings.

• In summer: water every 2–3 weeks.

• In winter: once a month or less.

• Avoid overwatering – root rot is the most common killer.

🪴 Soil

• Use a well-draining soil mix.

• Best: cactus/succulent mix or regular potting soil with added perlite/sand.

🌡️ Temperature & Humidity

• Prefers: 60–85°F (16–29°C).
  

• Normal indoor humidity is fine.

🌱 Fertilizing

• Fertilize once a month in spring/summer with a diluted balanced fertilizer (e.g., 10-10-10).
  

🪴 Repotting

• Every 2–3 years or when root-bound.

• Sansevierias like being snug in their pots, so don't rush.

✂️ Pruning & Maintenance

• Trim off damaged or drooping leaves at the base with clean scissors.

• Wipe leaves occasionally to remove dust.

• Toxic to pets (cats and dogs).

• Can cause nausea, vomiting, and drooling if ingested.
