The term “Esqueleto” translates to “skeleton” in Spanish, and it refers to the distinct skeleton-like patterns that appear on the leaves of this particular cultivar. In fact, on a mature and happy Monstera Esqueleto, you will see more holes than leaves, and the leaves can be extremely thin*, a stand out for your collection or interior.
