Epipremnum Marble Variegata

The Variegated Epipremnum Marble  is a popular and visually striking cultivar of the Epipremnum aureum species. 

Appearance: The Marble Queen pothos is characterized by its glossy, heart-shaped leaves with distinctive marbled or mottled patterns of creamy white and green. The variegation can vary in intensity, with some leaves exhibiting more white than others, adding to its visual appeal.

Growth Habit: This plant is a fast-growing vine that trails or climbs when provided with support. It can also be grown as a hanging plant or allowed to cascade over the edges of containers, making it a versatile choice for both indoor and outdoor settings.

Light Requirements: Variegated Epipremnum Marble thrives in bright, indirect light. While it can tolerate lower light conditions, its variegation may fade, and growth may become more sparse. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight, as this can scorch the leaves.

Watering and Soil: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Allow the top inch or two of the soil to dry out between waterings. Pothos plants are relatively forgiving of occasional underwatering but are sensitive to overwatering, which can lead to root rot. Use a well-draining potting mix.

Temperature and Humidity: Variegated Epipremnum Marble prefers temperatures between 65-85°F (18-29°C) and moderate to high humidity levels. If the air in your home is dry, consider placing a pebble tray filled with water near the plant or using a room humidifier to increase humidity.

Maintenance: Prune the plant regularly to remove any leggy or yellowing stems and encourage bushier growth. You can also propagate pothos easily by rooting stem cuttings in water or moist potting soil. Wipe the leaves with a damp cloth occasionally to remove dust and keep them clean.

Toxicity: Pothos plants, including the Variegated Epipremnum Marble, are considered mildly toxic if ingested. Keep them out of reach of  pets.
