Hoya Endauensis in Hanging Pot

Dhs. 285.00

Hoya endauensis is a stunning species of Hoya, known for its thick, glossy leaves and beautiful, fragrant flowers. Like other Hoyas, it’s fairly easy to care for as long as you meet its basic needs. Here's how to keep your Hoya endauensishealthy and thriving:

1. Light

  • Bright, indirect light: Hoya endauensis prefers bright, indirect light to encourage healthy growth and blooming. Avoid direct, harsh sunlight as this can burn the leaves.

  • Low light tolerance: It can survive in lower light but may grow slower and be less inclined to bloom.

2. Watering

  • Let the soil dry out between waterings: As with most Hoyas, Hoya endauensis is prone to root rot if overwatered. Let the top 1-2 inches of soil dry out before watering.

  • Watering frequency: During the growing season (spring and summer), it may need watering more often, but in colder months, reduce watering since the plant goes into dormancy.

  • Avoid soggy soil: Make sure the pot has excellent drainage, as stagnant water in the pot can cause root rot.

3. Humidity

  • Moderate to high humidity: Hoya endauensis thrives in humidity levels of around 60-80%. If your home is dry, especially in winter, consider using a humidifier or placing the plant on a humidity tray.

  • Air circulation: Although it enjoys humidity, make sure there’s good airflow to prevent fungal issues.

4. Temperature

  • Warm temperatures: It does best in temperatures ranging from 65°F to 85°F (18°C - 29°C). Avoid temperatures below 50°F (10°C) as it can stress the plant.
