Dracaena (Sansevieria) Kirkii Pulchra Coppertone is a super easy houseplant with strong air-purifying properties. Sansevieria is particularly good at removing toxins such as formaldehyde and benzene from the air. These houseplants are unique in that they perform a specific type of photosynthesis at night, which allows them to also release oxygen throughout the night. In contrast, most other plants that release oxygen only during the day and carbodioxide during the night.
Easy care
Snake plants are very hard to kill, because they will adapt to a wide range of growing conditions. Although they will do best in bright indirect sunlight, they will survive even in very low light. In darker conditions, they will need less water and grow much more slowly.
Sansevieria are native to the arid deserts of West Africa. That's why they do not require much water, especially in the winter. Sansevieria like to dry out completely between watering. So, make sure Sansevieria Kirkii Pulchra Coppertone's soil is thoroughly dry before watering it again! The most common mistake with these houseplants is overwatering. Due to the fleshiness of the leaves, this can easily lead to root and stem rot.
