Phoenix Palm

Dhs. 285.00

Size: 120cm in nursery pot

Light

  • Loves bright sunlight.
  • Best outdoors with 4–6+ hours of sun.
  • Indoors: place near the brightest window possible.

Watering

  • Water deeply when the top 2–3 cm of soil feels dry.
  • In hot weather: usually 2–3 times per week in pots.
  • Avoid constantly soggy soil — roots can rot.

Soil

  • Needs well-draining soil.
  • Use a mix with sand/perlite for airflow.

Humidity & Heat

  • Handles heat very well.
  • Protect very young palms from harsh midday summer sun until established.

Fertilizer

  • Feed once a month in spring/summer with a balanced palm fertilizer.
  • Yellow leaves can mean magnesium or potassium deficiency.

Pruning

  • Only remove fully brown/dry fronds.
  • Don’t over-prune green leaves — palms store energy there.

Repotting

  • Repot every 2–3 years or when roots become crowded.
  • Choose a pot with drainage holes.

Common Problems

  • Brown tips → underwatering or salt buildup.
  • Yellow leaves → overwatering or nutrient deficiency.
  • Drooping fronds → needs more light or water balance adjustment.
