Philodendron gloriosum is a stunning tropical plant prized for its large, heart-shaped, velvety leaves with striking white or pale green veins. It’s a creeping, terrestrial species native to Colombia, meaning it grows along the ground rather than climbing like many other philodendrons.

Key Care Tips:

• Light: Bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sun which can scorch its leaves.

• Watering: Keep the soil lightly moist but not soggy. Let the top inch dry out between waterings.

• Humidity: Prefers high humidity (60%+), but adapts to normal indoor levels with some effort.

• Temperature: Ideal range is (18–29°C). 

• Soil: Loose, well-draining mix (like aroid mix: peat, perlite, orchid bark).

• Growth Habit: Creeping—ensure horizontal space or a long pot so the stem can crawl.
