Calathea Majestica ‘White Star’

Calathea Majestica ‘White Star’ is a cultivar of the Ornata Species perfect for those who wants to add a splash of color to their collection. I think this is an art project of nature. 

Ensure your environment has high humidity with no direct sun light.  Above all, this plant should be watered with soft water only, free from calcium carbonate and other minerals found in many urban water sources. Grouping Calatheas will help achieve the correct humidity along with an attentive watering routine. As a result you’ll have a healthy looking plant with no burnt edges.

Calatheas are not poisonous which means it’s pet friendly (non toxic to cats and dogs).

Care Tips: Group calatheas together for optimal humidity. 

Light: bright, indirect light

Water: generously in spring/summer, much less in autumn/winter, water should be room temperature and soft

Humidity: High
