Hoya Villosa

The Hoya Villosa features thick, fuzzy leaves that are typically oval-shaped and can range in color from dark green to gray-green. The leaves have a velvety texture due to the fine hairs covering their surface, giving them a soft and fuzzy appearance. The plant can also produce clusters of small, waxy flowers with star-shaped petals that range in color from white to pink or lavender.

Hoya villosa is native to tropical regions of Asia, where it thrives in warm and humid environments. When grown as a houseplant, it prefers bright, indirect light and well-draining soil. Allow the soil to dry out slightly between waterings, as overwatering can lead to root rot. It is relatively easy to care for, making it a popular choice for indoor plant enthusiasts. It benefits from regular pruning to maintain its shape and encourage new growth. Additionally, fertilize the plant sparingly during the growing season with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength.
