The plant gets its name from the lance-shaped foliage that will become more elongated as the plant matures. Calathea Lancifolia thrives indoors with the correct care. Ensure your environment has high humidity with no direct sun light. Most importantly the plant should be watered with soft water only, free from calcium carbonate and other minerals found in many urban water sources.
