Philodendron Melanochrysum

The Philodendron Melanochrysum or Black Gold Philodendron is a large, very attractive variety of philodendrons whose velvety leaves start out pinkish and slowly matures into a deep dark green like magic. This plant does require a pole to climb. They look like the northern lights when it starts to climb. 

*Philodendron species are known to be highly variable and not every leaf of every specimen will always appear the same.

Plant comes in a regular nursery pot

Care Tips:

Light: bright, indirect sunlight

Water: when top 3 inches of the soil is dry 

Humidity: average

Soil: well draining potting mix 

Toxic to humans and animals when ingested.
